We ain’t dead yet
Want to live 8 years longer than everybody else on the planet? Garden, says National Geographic writer Dan Buettner in his book, The Blue Zone: Lessons for Living Longer from the People Who’ve Lived the Longest.
Blue Zones are the places in world where people live a very long time. Of the oldest Okinawans that Buettner studied, it was the gardeners (okay, and the walkers) who lived to the really ripe old ages. Moving around has gots lots to do with it, but it’s not the whole story. Gardeners tend to live a veggie packed life and get a good dose of vitamin D daily from sunshine (prevents cancer).
whatever
