Tomato crazy
There is not much to be gained by planting tomatoes too early, they don’t get growing until the weather (really the soil) gets warmer. But there is a lot to be gained by selling seedlings on the first warm days of spring.
According to the people who count things, gardeners buy more tomato plants than any other plant. You can imagine the buying is fierce.
