Oh dear…
Just another reason to wear garden gloves - Legionnaire’s disease in the compost.
Turns out the moist, bacteria-happy, nutrient-rich compost pile is the perfect environment for Legionnella. And your thorn-scratched arms and bashed fingers are the perfect portal for the disease.
Drat says this gloveless gardener!
