Never been a big fan of agapanthus?
Me neither. But then I saw Dan Hinkley speak last week in Newport Beach and he was all about agapanthus up there in Washington. He told the crowd he grows up to 60 kinds, which got me thinking “are there really 60 kinds of agapanthus and do we need to be such snobs about them?”
A plant search on the Monrovia Nursery website resulted in 10. Loving the darker blues that are showing up in the nurseries lately like Monrovia’s ‘Midknight Blue’ pictured above. I’ve seen this one up close and personal and its the deepest blue you’ll find in nature.
Or am I just loving it cause Dan Hinkley does? What a follower!
whatever
C and G News —Plant theft in Warren public garden, but only the butterfly plants go missing. Like any politician - the mayor suggests the theft is political.
