I remember a time when I could buy rice hulls by the bag and wrote an article about it in the <a href="http://homebody.freedomblogging.com/2008/08/30/double-digging-makes-all-the-difference/677/" title="Orange County Register.">Orange County Register.</a> And then my phone rang and rang.<br /> Turns out you can buy rice hulls in bulk at tack and feed stores where animal people use it as bedding in stalls.
