100 sturdy plants
Ever wonder what the 100 sturdiest plants are for California gardens? Wonder no more. UC Davis has compiled a list they call their Arboretum All-Stars.
Some are familiar like plumago, bottlebrush, yucca and various salvias. Others you may not have thought of as super-sturdy, rose ‘Perle d’Or’ or crape myrtle.
But to make the list the plant can’t need lots of water and should have few problems with pests or disease. See the list here.
whatever
ABCNews, Denver—The “Tree Fairy” has been at it again, planting trees in the dark of night in unsuspecting neighbor’s yards. Forty-one so far, minus the 13 that homeowners have removed.
