Your best garden tip for the New Year?
Being a gardener means we keep on learning, until we’re compost ourselves.
For me, 2012 was The Year of Kelp. I went kind of nuts, foliar feeding dilute Liquid Kelp to green friends indoors and out. It’s a tonic full of micronutrients, so I could spray away to my heart’s content (even daily) without harming anyone.
Plus I became an evangelist for the edible flowers of borage.
