The woman who invented eating your yard - Rosalind Creasy - expert on edible landscapes and organic eating will speak tomorrow, 9:30 until noon at the Los Angeles Arboretum Palm Room as a guest of the Lili Singer weekly program. $20 at the door. 

Bea Grow talks (and if you know her, you know she’s good at it) from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday at the Heritage Museum of Orange County about growing roses. Free. Bring your garden tools—on site blacksmiths will sharpen them for you (unclear if this is free.)
