What about the weather?

Weather is of special interest to us gardeners because we are outside in it more than most folks. So of course I had to click on the very eerie environmental images by Matthew Albanese that I found on the blog The Daily Beast edited by Tina Brown.

The tornado looks troubling for sure, except here’s the deal, it’s not real. Nor is the moonscape, the mossy forest or the pics of Aurora Borealis. These are miniature landscapes that Albanese builds in his studio, then lights and photographs. The tornado is made out of steel wool.
