Enchanting Sweet Peas May 31, 2010

The sweet pea pilgrimage

Serious sweet pea growers may want to pack the car, grab the cat, put the sprinklers on auto and head in the direction of Sonoma for the single open day of Enchanting Sweet Peas farm where you can walk in fields 6-feet high in fragrant blooms, buy sweet pea seeds at 10% discount and get one with other Lathyrus odoratus devotees.

It’ll be your sweet pea nirvana—either that, or you’ve hit too many wineries on the way there.

I wish!  Always am antsy this time of year, it’s beautiful in Sonoma any time of year, plus there is
Cornerstone Gardens and lots of great B&Bs;, and I absolutely love Sweet Peas!  They smell yummy and remind me of my mom.
