It beats having your tortoise paw at the bedroom door to get into the closet everyday - a tortoise habitat that looks like a design feature. It’s not that I minded having Marilyn nap with my shoes or sleep under the guest beds, it’s just that I wish I had thought of of this from Sunset’s Fresh Dirt blog.
Now Marilyn lives on a farm in Cherry Valley and is an occasional guest contributor on my girlfriend Lisa’s blog, Life Illustrated.

What is chewing up all the leaves on my roses?
They look like Italian lace. I tried the organic way to feed this year and not use the Bayer so wondering if that is the cause. But what is it? I can’t see this bug.
