Snails are the new nearly sustainable food source

Only in the Telegraph UK: One way to rid America from the French invasion of Helix Aspersa is to cook up the monopods with butter and garlic. But I suppose you already knew that our garden snail is the escargot kind. In fact, one blogger has devoted a web site, Eating Garden Snails to recipes. OK it’s a new blog, started on Monday with only one recipe, but it looks delish and it’s a start!
