May 4, 2009Snaggin the good idea
One of the best parts of garden tourism is the ideas you get to take home. This one from Kathie Ferree’s garden in Huntington Beach (Mary Lou Heard Memorial Tour) I’m going to do this weekend. In fact, I already have the Italian cypresses - four of them and I can’t for the life of me remember why I bought them in the first place. But there they sit in their nursery pots.
I’ll plant them 6 to 8-feet apart, let them grow so tall, them wire them to together to form an arch. I think, unless someone tells me that’s not the way to do it.
