Sharpening the secateurs

After almost 35 years in the garden, I feel like a newbie after reading this from Gardens Illustrated —we should sharpen our secateurs “little and often”.

In other words, the serious gardener carries a sharpening stone in his/her pocket and sharpens the pruners a little bit everyday. News to me.
