May 12, 2011Round one for Victoria Falls
The only iris I grow. It has taken a while for my Victoria Falls to settle in and hit its stride as a reliable re-blooming iris. But re-bloom it does, up to four times a season.
Could be because the clumps are just the right size, that the plants have reached a certain maturity, that I have fed them even though I don’t remember doing so. But loving the armloads of fragrant flowers I’m getting in April for sure. More to come. From Greenwood Gardens - open on Saturdays through June.
