Potted herbs

I’m not a big proponent of windowsill herbs because for most folks they don’t last long. The sad truth is, plants don’t want to live inside our houses. Otherwise, they’d have houses, wouldn’t they?

Still, for a temporary source of fresh parsley, dill or basil, I’m liking this potted garden in a bread pan that I spotted on Three Potato Four - the web site of vintage stuff from two chronic collectors. The bread pan being an attractive idea for a kitchen window.
