October 19, 2011Pack your bags
you’re going to Holland and Belgium with Nan Sterman, award-winning author and garden designer. You’ll need comfy shoes to do five “lands” or gardens, 200 landscape displays and see 80 acres filled with tulips. You’ll want a sweater for the famous Aalsmeer Flower Auction and private canal gardens in Amsterdam. You may want a little black something for Beervelde Garden Days, and of course a boatload of batteries for your camera. No pictures though at the Van Gogh museum.
Get more information for this once-in-a-decade event in May this year at PlantSoup.com. Tell Nan I sent ‘ya.
Whatever
Los Angeles Times - Why would super-model Carla Bruni fall for a guy like Nicolas Sarkozy? Apparently he knew the botanical names of every flower in the Elysée Palace gardens.
