One-Block Diet

In case you haven’t checked it out yet, Sunset has a locavore blog called One-Block Diet—the idea being that Sunset headquarters occupies one full block in “Menlo” as the staffers like to call it.

The challenge for the team is to get as much food as possible from the property. So like most landscapes in California that includes the Helix aspersa, our brown garden snail. Helix aspersa is the same snail as the escargot brought here by the French.

If you’re inclined, check out the delicious details at One-Block Diet.com...scroll down to find the cooking post, then keep scrolling to find out how to prep the one-footed molluscs.
