Old world fun

What’s not to love about a Bocci ball court in the landscape? Packed with decomposed granite and lined with railroad ties, this court in Orange County doubles as a garden walk with bird-friendly plants on two sides. Plus it offers a piece of permeable land that helps reduce runoff.

More fun, the summer tournaments with “bring your own Italian dish and two bottles of wine” attract large crowds of friends and neighbors on warm summer nights. It’s a win, win, win.
