Not that we feel that passionate about hand cream so much, but hey, Crabtree & Evelyn’s Gardeners Hand Therapy has been popular for a long time. And they’ve sold boatloads of it to me and you.
But I find it way greasy and too perfumey and can’t wait to wipe it off. Some gardeners swear by it.
Love the packaging, though. What about you?

Totally agree. I just can’t handle that perfumey smell. I want to smell like my garden, not like Elizabeth Taylor’s version of it (may she rest in peace).

I love it. There are days when I’m digging all day and my hands get so dry that this has been the only cream to really sink in and soothe. Everything else I have tried I need to apply multiple times before it starts to improve the condition. Thanks for the O’Keefe tip… will definitely give that a try.

That is my favorite. I garden on 2 1/2 acres so my hands are extremely dry and damaged all the time. It works great for me. As for the fragrance, whenever my husband or boys are around and I put it on they always compliment me on the scent! Recently my daughter got me a sample of J.R.Watkins Shea Butter Body Cream at a trade show; Love it but haven’t found where to buy it yet.

My favorite handcream is from Israel. It’s called Health and Beauty Dead Sea Lotion. I love the stuff, it’s amazing on dry hands.

I love it but lately have been using O’Keefe’s Working Hands sold at Lowe’s for about 6 bucks a tube. I swear by the stuff—it is not greasy, sinks right in and works magic on gardener’s hands!
