Keep picking those peas

Maybe there is a long-winded botanical word for the phenomena - but peas are one of those (insert word here) plants that you’ve got to keep picking to keep getting just like their ornamental cousins, the sweet pea.
Pick your peas everyday if you have to, just don’t let them linger on the vine. Keep your peas producing by preventing them from maturing their seed pods. Pick, and pick seriously. Plus you’ll have something to snack on while your puttering.
