Illegal gardens

It’s made the pages of the Chicago Tribune and the Washington Post, NBC, Huffington Post and a host of other blogs and newsletters. Now the world knows now that Julie Bass faces jail time for growing food in her front yard.

Oak Park Michigan authorities say she should plant “suitable material” such as grass, shrubs, trees and groundcovers. But Bass is sticking by her Better Boys and is in a heap a trouble for it. Oh the humanity!

Kudos to her!  She should plant whatever she wants!  It’s crazy that she could get in trouble for this!  What is wrong with this country?

Tell Oak Park to get a life!  When this patriot has food and others, who don’t, come begging, she will be in the cat bird’s seat.  More gardening power to you, girl!  If you must plant “the Government’s”, type of plants, make them edible flowers!!  Anyway, what happened to our civil rights!!?
