Many of us in mild climes have boatloads of citrus dropping off the tree by now. With Super Bowl coming up, think of a lime marinade for all kinds of red meat, chicken or fish.
Combine in a resealable plastic bag:
1/3 cup of lime juice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 scallions thinly sliced
2 tablespoons minced ginger
1/2 teaspoon pepper flakes
Toss in your meat and refrigerate for an hour. Grill as always. From MarthaStewart.com
