Get back to where you once belonged

Oh, so you forgot about the old school herb garden, what with a decade or more of grabbing every perennial you could get your hands on, then trying the Mediterraneans, the natives and finally cycling through the succulents.

But all of a sudden growing herbs seem like a good idea, again. Especially when you consider how much they cost now that your a card-carrying foodie and steeping your own goat weed tea.

So it’s a good thing then that “Herb Weekend” at Fullerton Arboretum is coming up where hundreds of common and uncommon herbs will be sold. You could start all over again. Remember how easy herbs were to grow?

Herb Weekend - May 30 and 31. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission free. For more information go to fullertonarboretum.org or 714-278-3407.
