Free garden stuff

Well, maybe there is no such thing as a free lunch…but let’s say you love, love, love the luscious House Beautiful magazine and you’ve always been meaning to get your very own subscription to drool over. If you sign up any day this month, you can win free garden stuff like Felco pruners, Japanese clippers, garden boots and shovels all from the online store DianneB. Each day offers a different goody.

If you’re really clever at reading the fine print - you can even skip the subscription trial. Look for “no purchase necessary to enter” and click on that. That way, you can enter as many times as you want without filling up your mailbox with magazines.

The Consumerist—According to National Geographic’s Greendex survey, Americans trash the environment more than most, and care less about it than other countries.

Lynne says:

That statement is ridiculous.  Having traveled to other countries, there is graffiti, trash, and waste everywhere.  I am sick of people trashing AMERICA!!  I love the land I live in.

I agree with Lynn, and i also have travelled alot…the US is cleaner and more environmentally conscious than anywhere else in the world! For example, the air pollution in other countries is awful. Stop trashing the reputation of the good old USA!
