What is so cool about these fire pits handcrafted by John T. Unger is that some of them can double as art when they are not lighting up the night.

No painful reminders of the traditional built-in fire pit that you really wanted, but rarely use, and the cat loves. Ugh.

These are free-standing and look just as artsy unused, but better flickering with flames at sunset.
