Farm living is the life

If you’ve always wanted to wake up with the roosters, get back to the land, grow your own in rows and get a real Grapes of Wrath experience, you can sign up for a 3-month internship at La Milpa Organica Farm in Escondido.

Learn: Bed prep, green house work, composting, planting, irrigation, harvesting, taking/packing orders, delivery and farmer’s markets.

Live: Basic to rustic housing, shared bathroom, community kitchen.

Eat: Abundant food from the garden. Stipend for other stuff.

Contact: La Milpa Organica by email here.

Not into commitment? Then hang for just an evening at the potluck/farm-related movie night every third Saturday, one hour before dusk.
