Fall color continued

We came up with a pretty good list in the comments section about plants that change in toasty climates. For the benefit of the group they are:

Persimmon
Muskogee Crape Myrtle
Liquidambar
Maple
Japanese maple
Berberis
Itea
Ornamental grasses
Succulents
Fruit trees
Viburnum
Ornamental grape - Roger’s Red
Boston Ivy

Was just reading yesterday that persimmon is a good candidate for espalier.  How pretty would that be up adainst a stucco wall?
