From the “if they can do it so can we” department is this latest trend in England: Opening your garden to campers. Where hotels are demanding $100 a night, gardeners are getting a few pence for allowing travelers to camp with the perennials. Some gardeners even throw in a biscuit and tea in the morning and allow campers to do laundry.
Personally, I love our scrappy new economy when even gardeners can figure out how to make a few bucks.
