DIRT! the movie

Narrated by Jamie Lee Curtis, “DIRT! The Movie” tells the story of the glorious and unappreciated stuff beneath our feet. Did you know that one teaspoon holds a billion organisms? Me neither. 

DIRT! explains how four billion years of evolution have created the dirt that recycles our water, gives us food, provides us shelter and can be used as a source of medicine, beauty and culture.

Filmmakers Bill Benensen and Gene Rosow traveled to more than 20 parts of the planet, visiting global visionaries who are coming together to repair this natural resource with practical, viable solutions.
