The fair isn’t all about giant pumpkins and pigs, not to mention gut-wrenching rides and deep fried fare. This succulent display entered by an enthusiastic plant designer caught my eye more than anything.
Cute in a girly sort of way and a good idea for party centerpieces.

Much as I like to eat roasted suckling pigs I’m very happy to see the pig babies. That’s always my first stop at the fair.

Yay OC Fair. Don’t forget to visit the Visual Arts building which is perennially awesome. The staff in VA are so creative and artistic and always put up a great presentation of local artists and photographers’ treats for fairgoers’ hungry eyes.
