Dig, drop, done

It’s not as if the catchy concept isn’t a good one - bulbs really are as easy as dig, drop, done. It’s Marcy, Juliana and Evelyn, three ditzy chicks invented by the Dutch Bulb industry with a look as if gardening is the furthest thing from their minds (except for the martini, gardeners appreciate a good martini) that bothers the serious hort-heads among us.

And who wears curlers? Really?
