Be a joiner

at the day-long seminar hosted by the Master Gardeners of Orange County.

You’ll get to listen to all your favorite authors talk—Debra Lee Baldwin on designing with succulents, Pat Welsh on organic crops and Amy Stewart (left) with wicked plants and botanical atrocities.

Local experts will speak up too with Erick Lux about tools, Darren Haver on water, and designer Heather Lenkin on friendship gardens. Even entomologist John Kabashima will host The Doctor is In, during lunch.

Lots more on the schedule, lots of plant freaks just like you.

The details:
October 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Huntington Beach Central Library
$37 seminars only, $45 includes boxed lunch
Deadline for registering October 9
